Christmas Vision

With Christmas just 4 weeks away it’s time to buckle down and work out your Christmas Vision! A Christmas Vision is really simple, all you need to do is write down what you feel is important to achieve over the Christmas period. I find it really help full do this in November, because as soon as the first weekend in December hits, you will have Christmas parties galore! Since everyone has different values and vision, everyone’s may look a little different!

A few of the things I like to include in my holiday vision are;

  • Putting up the tree
    • I love spending the whole day doing Christmas things, with music, treats and champagne!
  • baking Christmas treats
  • looking at Christmas lights
    • Some areas have amazing Christmas light displays with Santa, and carolers. So do your research and take your family to the best ones, and stop for an ice cream on the way home!
  • Christmas carols
    • A great way to get you in the holiday spirit!
  • Christmas shoe box
    • I love making these shoe boxes for children who aren’t as lucky as we are to receive amazing Christmas presents.
  • dinner parties
  • Christmas parties
  • seeing family and friends!

Due to lack of time and having crazy schedules it is unlikely that you will be able to fit everything in, so now is a great time to get your diary out and start planning, so you can try to fit as much in as you can!

The next important thing to organise is Christmas day, and who you will spend it with. If you normally  try to visit 5 different family members on the one day it can get a little bit hectic and stressful, especially if you have kids. So maybe this year you can plan to see less people on Christmas day, and celebrate with your other family members, with a Christmas eve dinner or boxing day lunch!

Good luck organising, and we can’t wait to share our next Christmas tip!
