How to clean your micro fibre couch
This next tip is currently my biggest saviour! I have a micro fibre couch and for years i have struggled to keep it clean, but micro fibre shows stains like nobodies business! I was convinced that I had to buy a new one UNTIL I tried out this amazing, life saving tip!
All you will need is rubbing alcohol, a sponge, a bristle brush and a spray bottle!
*Tip- It is best to use a white sponge and bristle brush or one the colour of your lounge, so to avoid any colour transfer.
1- Pour the rubbing alcohol into a spray bottle and saturate the effected are.
rubbing alcohol evaporates much faster than water so it wont leave a water mark.
2- Now take your sponge and start rubbing hard! Don’t be afraid to use all your might, and you will start to see the dirt come off onto your sponge.
3-Make sure you have back up sponges to switch out when your sponge becomes dirty.
4- Let the areas that have been sprayed dry, they will be darker than the rest of your couch.
5- When they have become completely dry, you will notice that it has gone stiff DON’T PANIC that is what the bristle brush is for!
6- Take your brush and with circular motions, start to refluff the cleaned areas!!
Voila, your couch is brand new!
