Reset for the week ahead.

I absolutely love being organised, I love planning ahead and checklists are a daily habit. I realize not everyone loves planning as much as I do, so I have put a little list together to help your week go smoothly. I do these jobs on a Sunday afternoon and always help me feel organised for the week to come.

These few things will really help you have a successful week. Your mind will be less cluttered and you will feel at ease. So give Just Blues list a go this weekend and reset for the week ahead.

1 – Wash your sheets and make your bed

Who doesn’t love fresh clean sheets! If you do this on a Sunday you will go to bed happy and wake up feeling refreshed!

2 -Do all your laundry & choose outfits for the entire week

Choosing your outfits for the week ahead of time will save that groggy morning search for an outfit, you will have clean socks all ready to go, and you wont be searching high and low looking for the right underwear.

And an added bonus is that you will actually get use out of all your clothes not just a select few!

3 -Pick out gym clothes for the entire week and pack them all

Doing this and packing them all is a great time saver, you might be thinking why would you pack them all? Why not just organise them but leave them in your draw? If you pack all of your gym outfits at the start of the week and just throw your bag in the car you will always have them ready to go, so forgetting your gym clothes will no longer be an excuses to not go to the gym!

4 -Prepare breakfast and lunch for Monday (or the entire week)

This is such an easy way to make the mornings go smoother. If you are making smoothies or acai bowls for breakfast you know that they can take a good 30 minutes from chopping the fruit, eating to cleaning up. So if you have all this chopped and ready to go, you just have to turn the blender on. You will save preparation and cleaning time!

5 – Empty all your trashcans

Simple but effective!

6 – Wipe down your bathroom & kitchen, and tidy up the rest of your home

You don’t want to spend all day cleaning, but just quickly do a little clean around the house and it will make you feel organised once it has been complete.

7 – Check your calendar & create a fresh to-do list

See what you have on this week, and make a list of things you need to buy, do around the house or have ready for school and work.

8 -Restock your refrigerator and pantry

If you do this on the weekend and its all done you don’t have to worry about going shopping on the way home from work, and you will have everything you need for a quick and healthy meal!
